Here is some information about writing, as told from my small spot on the planet.

All opinions, gesticulations, and belches are my own.

TWO INCOMPATIBLES
       - a villanelle on the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2

A1   Two incompatible beings collide.
b     First, internal battle - race to enslave,
A2   then fly swiftly, softly, tie threads to outside.

a    Host cleanses anxiously, touching denied,
b    each masked to keep out, keep in, behave!
A1  Two incompatible beings collide.

a    Cell replication repeating inside,
b    crowns of quick fire burn through corpus’s cave,
A2  fly swiftly, softly, tie threads to outside.

a    Not her! Not him! My own body provide!
b    Paradox of choice – which breath do we save?
A1  Two incompatible beings collide.

a    Clamoring voices obsess and confide,
b    snake oil and science, recovery and grave,
A2  fly swiftly, softly, tie threads to outside.

a    Fragments of heart flung most desperately wide,
b    soar without touching the imminent wave -
A1      Two incompatible beings collide!
A2  fly swiftly, softly, tie threads to outside.
